Meet at Leos changing rooms for briefing
Warm up at Leos
Jog from Leos to Alwoodley Green car park with a parent at the front with torch (no overtaking) and parent at back also with torch.
(parents in cars drive to Alwoodley Green car park) (carrying first aid equipment)(also available to drive injured children back to Leos)
Parents needed to be at southern point, northern point and in middle to marshal.
Parent at southern point please shout or wave torch if a cyclist wants to come through.
Jog length of cycle path and back to review conditions
Sprint Handicap
Assemble at Finish
Jog steadily towards starts, dropping runners off according to their school year
At “Go” everyone sprints to finish (keep left unless overtaking)
First runner (or maybe two) will go to one age group older for next start.
Do several sets
Relays
Teams of 3. Runners sequence is A, B, C.
One or two parents may be needed to make teams if not a multiple of 3
Runners B in each team jog to southern point. When ready …
