The Meanwood Valley Trail Race is an off-road race organised by Valley Striders. It gets a mention in Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meanwood_Valley_Trail
Our race starts from Leos and the route follows parts of the Meanwood Trail footpath via Adel Crag, the Buck Stone, the Seven Arches aqueduct and the tunnel under the Ring Road to Meanwood Park, does a big lap of the Park and then returns up the Trail to finish at Leos.

We first held the event in 1996 and ran it annually until 2015 and then in 2018 and 2019. Since 1999 we have donated profits to a local charity, Lineham Farm Children’s Centre, and have raised over £17,000 for them.
Any profits raised this year will go to Lineham Farm and Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
