It’s Roy’s 500th parkrun on 21st September, I’m pretty certain Roy is the first Valley Strider to make it to 500 but please correct me if I’m wrong.
For those new to the club who don’t know Roy, he’s the fantastic chap who is the ‘face’ of Valley Striders on our iconic website homepage. If you’ve not met him yet come along to parkrun to meet him, I’m sure there will be music and something to eat afterwards.
Finally onto parkrun Grand Prix. This parkrun will count to your Grand Prix points and races so a double bonus for all.
